The information provided by Villa Checker is for general informational purposes only. While we strive to ensure that all content is accurate and up-to-date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of our services or the information provided.

By engaging our services, clients acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Property Condition: The properties are viewed in their current condition at the time of inspection. Villa Checker is not liable for any changes, damages, or undisclosed issues that may arise after the inspection, including but not limited to property maintenance issues or damages caused by third parties.

  2. Inspection Limitations: While we aim to provide thorough inspections and address client concerns, Villa Checker does not guarantee the accuracy of the information provided by property owners or the booking platforms. Clients should perform their own due diligence and verify any information before making a booking.

  3. Third-Party Services: Villa Checker utilizes third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) and is not responsible for any issues that may arise during the payment process. Clients should address any payment-related concerns directly with the service provider.

  4. No Association with Booking Platforms: Villa Checker is not affiliated with or endorsed by any booking platforms, including but not limited to Airbnb or Booking.com. We are not responsible for any issues related to the booking process, cancellations, or property conditions as reported on these platforms.

  5. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Villa Checker be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this legal disclaimer. If you do not agree with these terms, you should refrain from using our services.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - THE BASICS
Service Description

Villa Checker offers the following services:

  • Standard Inspections: Comprehensive evaluations of the property to assess cleanliness, safety, and amenities.

  • Live Video Walkthroughs: Real-time video tours of the property, allowing clients to ask questions during the inspection.

 

Booking Process

To book our services, clients must fill out the online form and make payment for the selected service. A minimum of 30 days notice is required before the desired booking date to ensure proper scheduling of the inspection while the property is vacant.

In cases where the Villa Checker team is unable to enter the property, clients will be promptly contacted to discuss options, including:

  • A full refund

  • Credit toward a different property inspection

 

Cancellation Policy

Clients must provide at least 30 days' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If the Villa Checker team is unable to enter the property, clients will be contacted to discuss options, including:

  • A full refund

  • Credit toward a different property inspection

 

Liability

Villa Checker conducts inspections based on the current condition of the property at the time of the video walkthrough. We are not liable for any changes, damages, or undisclosed issues that may occur between the date of the video inspection and the client's check-in date.

Additionally, we are not affiliated with any booking platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com) and do not have control over their processes. As such, Villa Checker is not responsible for:

  • Any issues or damages that arise within the property after the inspection.

  • Problems related to booking, cancellation, or other policies set by third-party booking platforms.

  • Any financial losses or inconveniences resulting from changes to the property that we did not disclose during our inspection.

 

Confidentiality

Villa Checker is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. We keep all data collected private and will only disclose necessary information to complete an inspection.

  • Client data is securely stored on a server maintained by Wix.

  • Payments are processed through a third-party provider, ensuring secure transactions.

We do not share or sell personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

Dispute Resolution

Most disputes, if any, will be addressed directly by the Villa Checker team in-house. Should legal action be necessary, it will take place in a court of law in Indonesia, as Villa Checker is based there and governed by local authorities and rules.

Inspection Issues

Any significant issues discovered during inspections will be documented in the Villa Checker checklist, and video evidence will be provided whenever possible.

Clients are encouraged to communicate any additional concerns they would like us to address during the inspection, and we will do our best to accommodate those requests.

Once the information has been presented to the client, the decision to book the property rests solely with them. Villa Checker is not responsible for the booking, cancellation, or any issues that may arise related to those processes; we only provide the services listed and paid for.

Payment Issues

Villa Checker utilizes Stripe as our third-party payment service. If you encounter any issues with payment, please contact the Villa Checker platform directly, and we will do our best to assist you.

Service Availability

Villa Checker primarily focuses on the main tourist areas in Bali, including:

  • Kuta

  • Legian

  • Seminyak

  • Canggu

  • Sanur

  • Ubud

  • Denpasar

  • Jimbaran

  • Nusa Dua

  • Uluwatu

If you require a Villa Checker inspection outside these areas, such as Lovina, Mt. Batur, Kintamani, Bedugul, Munduk, Amed, West Bali, Candi Dasa, or Sideman, an additional charge of $50 Australian dollars will apply.

Amendments to Terms

Villa Checker reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients with bookings in progress will be notified of any updates or changes as they continue with their service.
